Thursday-Take Out the Trash

Last night Erik talked about being made to Get Messy for God. What was something you learned or took away from last night?
-Why is it hard to think that we are perfectly made? Read Psalm 139:14 again.
-What does that verse say? That’s right! You are perfectly made in GOD’S EYES! Start believing it!
-What’s inside your backpack? Is it gross and disgusting, or do you keep it cleaned out?
-Read Matthew 11:28 & 1 Peter 5:7 & Psalms 55:22
-What do you think it means to carry burdens?
-What can you do to give your burdens and worries to God?

Tuesday-What Causes the Mess in our Lives

-Last night Erik talked about stepping up and Getting Messy for God. -What was something you learned or took away from last night?
-What is one way you think you could Get Messy for God? Do you think you could have done what Joshua did?
-Can you think of a time where it was hard for you to step up and Get Messy for God? ( Leaders – share a time where you struggled to step up and Get Messy for God – at school, work, with friends, at home, etc.)
-Tonight we are going to be talking about things that make a mess in our lives. Sometimes there are things (messiness) in our lives that hold us back from being able to Get Messy for God. What are things that hold you back?
-Read Phillipians 2:14-16 & Proverbs 15:1-2. What are these passages all about?
-Does your mouth ever make a bad mess? If so, how?
-How could you improve what comes out of your mouth?

-How do you want God to change your life?

-God wants each of us to Get Messy for Him – Read Matthew 28:16-20. What does this passage tell us? What should we do with our lives?
-What are ways that you can show Jesus to others?
-How can you show others that Getting Messy for God is the best way that there is to live?
