12.29.08 Emmaus Wednesdays Will Be Back on January 7

We are taking a little brake during holidays, but our Wednesday nights will be starting back up on Janaury 7. We'll see ya then!

12.19.08 Andrea is Home!!!

Andrea came home on December 19 and she is doing great! All your prayers made a huge difference and helped bring her home. Andrea and her family are very grateful for all the support, prayers and encouragement that they received!

11.11.08 Small Group Night is Coming
Wednesday, November 19 is small group night!!! All the small groups will be spending the whole night together... doing fun stuff and just hanging out together!! Be watching the mail... a postcard is coming that will tell ya what your small group is doing...

09.29.08 Everyone Can Go to Revolve...
...well... provided they either a middle school or high school girl or the mother of a middle school or high school girl. We are opening Revolve up to everyone! So, give Kristy a call and sign up today!

09.22.08 8th Grade Girls Going to Revolve!
We have expanded the number of girls that can go to Revolve, the conference for teenage girls that is coming to Arco Arena in Sacramento! Now the 8th grade girls can join the high school girls going to Revolve. So, click here to find out more about Revolve and sign up today!

09.08.08 New Small Groups!
Last Wednesday night when students showed up for the Fall Kick (H)Off they met their new small group. Every student is assigned to a small group for the whole year and each small group is led by one or two Sherpas. We do our best to put students in small groups where they feel comfortable and connected, but if we did not put a student in the right group, there is a way they can change groups. On Wednesday nights in the atrium at the Kristy's Information Center there are Small Group Change Request cards that students can fill out and drop into a box. We will review the request and do our best to address it. Students can requests changes until September 17 and after that the small groups are set for the year.

Emmaus' new website is now live! Check back often to what is new and different. With the launch of youremmaus.com we have put together a basic website with information about what is going on in Emmaus Student Ministries. Over the next few weeks we will build upon our basic structure with new features and additions. So, keep checking back to see what's new! Also, we will be sending out parent emails each week that talk about what has been added to youremmaus.com. If you have any ideas about things that we can add to youremmaus.com to make it better, please let us know.
